About the author
Gabrielle Roy (1909-1983) a publié en 1945 son premier roman, Bonheur d’occasion, pour lequel elle reçoit plusieurs prix dont le Femina en 1947. Elle a reçu de nombreux prix au cours de sa carrière dont le prix Duvernay, le Prix littéraire du Gouverneur général (à trois reprises) et le prix David.
